The Wits Paediatric Fund is the fundraising arm of the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School Department of Paediatrics.Under the auspices of the Wits Foundation, the Fund seeks financial support for essential equipment, supplementary medical and therapeutic staff, professional development training, and materials for the renovation of wards at the three Wits teaching hospitals—Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, and Rahima Moosa Mother & Child Hospital. The sole aim of the Fund is to improve public health care.
